A place to start. A team to grow with.

Riverside High School students can learn rowing from the fundamentals up. Spring is the primary racing season, with conditioning opportunities during other parts of the year. Ask the team about current eligibility and tryout requirements.

Understand the commitment

Expect regular training, regatta weekends and a family role in transportation and volunteering. Current schedules, dues, deadlines and payment options are shared through registration. Contact the team to discuss the season before signing up.

03 · Riverside Crew

1. Complete school requirements

Register for crew through the school athletics process, complete required training and submit a current physical and participation forms. Athletes must appear on the school’s cleared list before taking part in tryouts or team activities.

2. Register with Riverside Crew

Create or update the family account in TeamLinkt, add each athlete and complete the team’s acknowledgements, contact information and payment selections. TeamLinkt is also a primary communication channel.

3. Review dues and inclusions

Season dues support coaching, equipment, indoor training, regatta entries, transportation, team apparel, race-day hospitality and other program expenses. Current amounts, deadlines, payment options and exclusions are provided during registration.

4. Prepare for tryouts

Athletes should confirm the announced location and attend every required tryout session. Final dates, times and roster-notification procedures are published through official team communications.

5. Complete safety requirements

New athletes must complete the team’s swim test and any other required safety steps before on-water participation. Instructions and what-to-bring guidance are sent to registered families.

6. Attend the parent meeting

The preseason parent meeting covers the season plan, logistics, communications, carpools and volunteer expectations. At least one parent or guardian should attend.

Refunds and withdrawals

Refund eligibility changes once team activities begin and may exclude processing costs or personalized items. Review the current policy presented during registration before submitting payment.
